Happy Thanksgiving!

The Board of Directors and Employees and Volunteers of the Franklin Area  Survival Center would like to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! We will be closed tomorrow to allow our staff and volunteers time with their families. We thrift store will reopen on Friday at 10 a.m.  The food pantry will reopen on Monday. Enjoy your day and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Greenfield Boy and Cub Scouts Food Drive brings in 2,391 pounds of Food

Just this past Saturday (11/22/14) the Greenfield area Boy Scouts along with some assistance from some Girl Scouts and GHS student groups picked up bags of food all over Greenfield. They picked up a whopping 2,391 pounds of food! They sorted it into crates for us as well.

We thank these young people who every year who just before Thanksgiving do this food drive for us.  Our clients are the benefactors and their families are so appreciative of the help! Please thank the scouts you see for doing this great community service and thank you for donating the food!

We also had a person from South Deerfield donate 500 pounds of potatoes! He wishes to remain anonymous, but we thank you so much!

We also received nearly 70 turkeys from the Emblem Club.  Our families are going to have a wonderful Thanksgiving because of you!
