Candace Lynde and Susan Howard newest members to the FASC Board of Directors

Candace Lynde returned as an at-large member of the board of directors of the Franklin Area Survival Center a couple of months ago.  She had been a board member a few years ago, but had had to leave due to family needs out of the area. However, Candace missed being on the board and asked if she could return.   Of course, we couldn't say no! She recently took the post of Secretary (giving Barbara Alfange a break), which she held during her last tenure.

Susan Howard, a volunteer in the pantry, has also joined the board of directors. She hails from Deerfield. She is active in the community and is a great asset in our food pantry.  She believes in our mission to help feed those in our community that need assistance. We know she will be a great asset to our board as well!

Welcome Candace and Susan!

Myryah Daehn and David Turner-New Employees at FASC

David Turner joined the Franklin Area Survival Center team recently as assistant to the site supervisor. David is a Turners Falls resident and has blended in nicely with the center family.

Myryah Daehn has been hired as a part-time cashier.  She will be working on Monday and Tuesday and covering for vacations and sick days. She will also be working in the sorting room as needed.

Stop by and say hello to both of our new employees!
