Franklin Area Survival Center has New Website!

The Franklin Area Survival Center has a new Website located at http://www.franklinareasurvivalcenter.org/. Thanks to RileyInteractive ( if you would like to check their website out it is www.rileyinteractive.com) we are up and running. We are still getting things on the site but it is open and ready for viewing. Keep an eye out for more pictures and updated news of what is happening at the center. If you have any questions just contact us through the website or through this blog. Let us know what you think!

Aubuchon's of Turners Falls Donates to FASC

Stephen Valeski, Manager of Abuchon Hardware in Turners Falls, selected the Franklin Area Survival Center as the recipient of the February 2009 Community Appreciation weekend. On March 28th, Stephen presented me with a check for $250!
Thanks Stephen for thinking of us and thank you Aubuchons!

Spring arrives at the Franklin Area Survival Center

We closed the center today to clean out the winter items and put in all new spring items. We have lots of brand new clothes with their tags! There are wonderful skirts, dresses, women's dress suits, women's formals (great for upcoming proms!). All of these clothes are being sold at low prices. There are suits for men, great dress slacks, shirts and polos. In the next couple of days we will be putting out all the spring shoes and purses, too.

We have some great furniture pieces for sale as well. There are dining room tables, desks, computer desks, couches, and even an organ!

Don't forget to stop in and check out our card round-about--cards are only 20 cents each--where today other than our store can you get a deal like that???

We have great records (LP), cassettes, movie DVD's, and CD's.

We have candles, candleholders, vases, dishes, pots and pans. We have microwaves, irons, George Foreman grills, coffee pots, mugs, and trinkets galore.

Remember, each purchase you make helps us continue to operate our food pantry. The store helps purchase food and to pay the bills. Please spread the word about the gem in Turners Falls.

We are open 6 days a week (M-Sa), 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

One tip: if you think you want it, don't go home to think about it, because it will probably be sold by the time you get back!
