Aubuchon's of Turners Falls Holds Fundraiser for FASC

On May 15th (Fri), 16th (Sat) and 17th (Sun), the Turners Falls Aubuchon's once again held a benefit weekend in which part of their sales was donated to us. On the 15th and 16th, members of the board of directors and volunteers of the Franklin Area Survival Center cooked hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill for Aubuchon's customers. Aubuchon's had representatives of the companies who sell their goods at Aubuchons handing out give-aways. There was a bounce house for the local kids. The reps came from all over New England. Aubuchon's is located on Avenue A in the Food City Mall and has contributed to the Franklin Area Survival Center and other local charities. FASC highly recommends that you shop at Aubuchon's for your everyday hardware needs. FASC thanks their employees, the reps of the companies, and local residents for making this weekend a wonderful success. Thanks so much!

Annual Postal Drive is Extremely Successful!

The annual postal drive around the country happened on May 9th. The local postal workers worked hard to help the local food pantries and non-profits by picking up food at their stops. Once again, they brought in a lot of great non-perishables. The Franklin Area Survival Center received 2,622 pounds of food from the Greenfield Post Office. The Turners Falls/Montague Post Offices are still bringing in donations, but as of today, we have received 3, 352 pounds! We are so thankful to the workers and the residents for helping us each year. We look forward to this drive every year, and each year they do not let us down. Thanks so much everyone for your help! We are sure our clients thank you, too!
