Planning another bus trip for the spring

We had such a great time on our bus trip to the Mohegan Sun Casino that we are planning more trips. We were thinking of a trip to New York in the spring. We planned on having the bus drop us at the National History Museum, but people could go where they wanted for the day and meet back at the bus! Is this something you would be interested in? How about a summer trip to Gloucester/Rockport? Or a trip to Seratoga, New York in August for the horse races and/or casino? Closed Monday, President's Day

The Franklin Area Survival Center will be closed on Monday, February 18, in observance of President's Day. Both the pantry and thrift store will reopen at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Have a great holiday!

Franklin Area Survival Center Closed Friday and Saturday due to Storm

The Franklin Area Survival Center's thrift store and food pantry are closed today due to the pending storm. The thrift store will also be closed tomorrow. The will both reopen at 10 a.m. on Monday. Stay safe and warm as ride out "Nemo".

Our Casino bus fundraising bus trip for Sunday morning is still on. Please be on time for pick ups. The bus leaves promptly at 7:00 from the Survival Center and 7:30 from the Blue Bonnet. Bus will arrive at the Survival Center at 6:45. Thank you!

Casino Trip

We still have seats for the bus on Sunday to the Mohegan Sun Casino in CT. Contact Candace at 413-341-3041 or Faith at 413-325-3428 if interested in going this weekend. Call with any questions. If you do not get an answer, leave a message and will return you call!

With the impending snowstorm forecast for Friday into Saturday, the store may be closed. Stop over tomorrow, Thursday, and check in with the cashier to save seats for yourself. You will need to pay for your tickets at the time of reservation. The cost is $40, but you get $30 back from the casino is coupons. Bus will leave promptly at 7:00 on Sunday morning from the center and 7:30 from the Blue Bonnet Restaurant in Northampton. We will be back at 5:00 in Northampton and 5:30 in Turners Falls.

We will be playing bingo on board the bus on the way down, so bring some dollar bills to play. Prizes will be gift certificates to our thrift store as well as bank cards! We will also be doing a 50/50. You know you want some extra money for the slots!
