Greenfield Boy and Cub Scouts Food Drive

The Greenfield boy scouts and cub scouts collected 3,371 pounds of food and packed them in crates for us last Saturday.  This is an annual event and every year they work hard to help support the Franklin Area Survival Center's food pantry. We appreciate the dedication of their scout leaders, volunteers and families who assist them. They all work very hard! Our shelves were stocked high with food by the end of the day Saturday and looking great. However, the sad fact is, that those shelves will empty very quickly. A special thank you to Russell Kimball of Greenfield, who is the point person for the scouts!
